A resident of Hermitage, Tennessee, Alan Jewett maintains his Certified Peer Recovery Specialist status and takes part in meetings that assist those with substance use disorders. Previously as a Guide with Firsthand Cares, he performed community outreach for Tennessee residents living with substance use dependency and/or serious mental illness. Alan Jewett directed individuals toward available community benefits and resources, while facilitating ongoing care to support sustained recovery goals.
Mr. Jewett also possesses experience as a Continuing Care Coordinator with Journey Pure at The River, where he helped individuals access vital resources and treatment programs. His background includes a role as a United States Army Standardization Instructor Pilot, where he trained pilots and administered programs covering various tactical mission profiles and flying environments.
From 2006 to 2024, Mr. Jewett was an active Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) Pilot with Air Methods, ensuring compliance with internal policies and FAA regulations. His auditing and evaluation activities helped maintain consistently high safety standards in a community based model program.
